Porównanie: SUPERSONIC Food Powder PLUS vs. Natural Mojo
Companies producing substitutes for meal have one goal - to provide consumers with tasty, healthy and full -fledged products that will be available to everyone, and at the same time will not have a negative impact on the environment. Living in a constant rush means that we do not have time to cook, food in the city is sometimes too expensive, and fast foods are not a long -term and beneficial solution. Hence the growing popularity of meal substitutes that have balanced proportions of macronutrients and are the source of all the vitamins and minerals necessary for the body. There are more and more companies on the market for the production of substitutes for meal, among them are the SuperSonic Food Powder Plus and Natural Mojo. However, between the products of different companies there are differences in nutritional values, raw materials used, and also in taste - because we want to be objective, we will only compare such distinguishing features that are not dependent on personal preferences. We are convinced that Supersonic Food Powder Plus is a product that deserves the greatest attention on the market in terms of composition and nutritional value.

Abstract

  • In Natural Mojo, 72% of all fats are saturated fatty acids, in Supersonic Food Powder Plus it is only 13%.
  • Supersonic Food Powder Plus contains 42% simple sugars less than Natural Mojo.
  • In Natural Mojo, simple sugars constitute 27% of all carbohydrates, while in SuperSonic Food Powder Plus it is only 4%.
  • 13 vitamins and minerals are added to the SuperSonic Food Plus plus (the remaining 13 appears naturally in raw materials), while to Natural Mojo - 18.
  • The Supersonic Food Powder Plus formula was developed by scientists and dietitians.
Carbohydrates The source of carbohydrates in Supersonic Food Powder Plus are oatmeal, linseed, maca root. Oatmeal and linseed provide mainly complex carbohydrates and fiber, including beta-glucants. Simple sugars in Supersonic Food Powder Plus are only from plant raw materials. In Natural Mojo products, carbohydrate sources are coconut milk powder, rice starch and maltodextrin. These are raw materials with a high glycemic index, e.g. IG Maltodextrin is up to 105 (it is almost twice as high as the glycemic index of white sugar), which means that they quickly increase blood sugar levels, the decrease of which is equally fast and sudden. As a result, the satiety is felt soon after consumption, which lasts briefly and carries a decrease in energy. By consuming products with a low glycemic index, such as Supersonic Food Powder Plus, satiety is felt longer, and blood sugar levels do not undergo sudden fluctuations. Due to the different preparation of products, Supersonic Food Powder Plus gives the nutritional values of one portion (96 g), including water (400 ml) and sachets with Omega 3-6-9 (5 ml) fatty acids, while Natural Mojo gives a conversion of one portion of the product (25 g) with the addition of sunflower oil (2.5 g) and cow milk with fat (250 ml). In the case of a comparison of 100 g of dry product, Natural Mojo has 30% less (10 g) carbohydrates, but including as much as 18% simple sugars more than Supersonic Food Powder Plus. According to the nutritional recommendations of the Institute of Food and Nutrition, the daily intake of simple sugars during the day should be as low as possible and not exceed 50 g (1). With a normal, daily diet containing fruit and store products (e.g. sweet bread, sweetened yogurt, sweets), exceeding this amount is very simple, hence it is important to choose products with maximally low content of simple sugars. However, this should not be confused with the content of carbohydrates - after deducting the content of sugars from them, they inform about the quantity in the product of complex carbohydrates, which are necessary for the proper functioning of the body and the brain. The higher the content of simple sugars in the product, the higher its glycemic index is, while the presence of complex carbohydrates and fiber in the product reduces this index (2). Protein Natural Mojo, unlike Supersonic Food Powder Plus, is not a vegan product, because its formula is based on the combination of animal and vegetable proteins, on whey protein (cow's milk protein) and soy and peas on protein. Cow's milk belongs to one of the most common allergens - a cow's protein allergy can have up to 7.5% of the population (3). The disadvantage of animal products is also the fact that they are a greater burden on the environment and climate than plant products, which is being aware of an increasing number of consumers. Hence the growing popularity of meal substitutes that are based on plant proteins. Soy, which appears in the Natural Mojo composition in the largest amount, has been classified by Codex alimentarius in the so -called Great eight food allergens, which means that it is one of the raw materials that most often cause allergies in humans. What's more, most of the world grown in the world is genetically modified, and its crops are used toxic to people and the environment of pesticine, such as glyphosat (which according to the data provided by the World Health Organization is "potentially carcinogenic") (4). For this reason, SuperSonic Food Powder Plus does not use soy protein, choosing proteins that do not cause allergies and are not so harmful to the environment. The SuperSonic Food Powder Plus formula is based on the composition of 4 vegetable proteins (peas, rice, pumpkin and hemp), which makes it a full -fledged product, providing all exogenous amino acids (those that the body does not synthesize and must be supplied in the diet). Thanks to this, the protein from Supersonic Food Powder Plus is just as valuable and nutritious as animal proteins and can be a perfect replacement for them, whose additional benefits are a smaller carbon and water trace. Fats Natural Mojo in 100 g of dry product has a lower fat content than SuperSonic Food Powder Plus, which results from the fact that preparing one portion requires adding milk and vegetable oil to it, which increases the fat content in the final meal. Despite this, in Natural Mojo, the content of saturated fatty acids is more than twice as high as in the same amount of dry Suppersonic Food Powder Plus powder. Saturated fatty acids should be consumed in such small amounts as possible, due to their harmful effects on the circulatory system in the event of excessive consumption. Fats supplied to the body should consist of one- and polyunsaturated fatty acids, whose consumption prevents atherosclerosis, reduces the risk of heart attack and heart disease. Omega-3 and omega-6, which the body does not produce and which should be supplied with diet (5) are particularly important. In most meal substitutes, fats are added in powdered form, while the Natural Mojo formula predicts the addition of a small portion of sunflower oil to the cocktail. It is a theoretically better solution than the use of powdered fats, because liquid oil retains more of its properties. However, the need to add fat makes it difficult to prepare a cocktail outside the home. In the dry powder, Natural Mojo fats come mainly from coconut milk, which is why these are mainly saturated fatty acids. Each portion of Supersonic Food Powder Plus should be consumed with the addition of Supersonic Liquid-sachets with ethyl esters omega 3-6-9 ethyl escorts obtained from linseed and hemp oil, which have an ideal ratio of omega-3 acids to omega-6 (6, 7). They occur in liquid form, because this allows you to maintain their full nutritional value, and the form of ethyl esters ensures very high bioavailability (the ability to absorb and use the substance by the body) and bioretence (the ability to retain the substance by the body's tissues so that they can be used later) in the body. Supersonic Liquid is attached to the Supersonic Food Powder Plus in the form of individual sachets with barrier properties, thanks to which the esters inside are protected against the harmful effects of oxygen and light, which means that their health -promoting properties do not change. Vitamins and minerals By creating the SuperSonic Food Powder Plus formula, we made sure that the raw materials we choose were as richest as possible in active ingredients, vitamins and minerals, so there is no need to fortify the product (adding vitamins and minerals to it) in all necessary microelements. 18 out of 26 necessary micronutrients have been added to the Natural Mojo formula, while 13 vitamins (A, D, D, E, K) are added to the SuperSonic Food Plus Plus - of which 4 vitamins (A, D, E, K) are added to supersonic Liquid, making them better absorbed. SuperSonic Food Powder Plus is rich in superfoods, which are a natural source of valuable vitamins and minerals, for example, follicular marszczyn is rich in iodine, thanks to which it did not have to be added to the formula, and wild rose extract is a source of vitamin C. SuperSonic Food Powder Plus, in addition to the content of 26 necessary vitamins and minerals, is also enriched with other health -promoting substances that have a beneficial effect on the body, but they are not produced by it. An example of such a substance is choline (called vitamin B4), which supports the proper functioning of muscles, nervous system and brain (8). Unique ingredients The Supersonic Food Powder Plus formula was created in such a way as to deliver to the body all the micro- and macronutrients necessary for it in perfectly balanced proportions. In addition, food is also functional food, i.e. it has a positive effect on the human body (other than the nutritional resulting from the ingredients contained in it) (9). For this reason, the Supersonic Food Powder Plus included a lycopene that has antioxidant and anti -cancer (10). In addition, the product contains lutein and zeaxanthin, which affect the proper functioning of the eye, and the body does not produce them itself (11). The SuperSonic Food Powder Plus also included inactive Yarrowia Lipolytica yeast, classified by the European Food Safety Office as Novel Food (new food). They are a source of B vitamins and vitamins C, D and E and other active ingredients, such as coenzyme Q10, alpha-ketoglutarans and citruline apple citrum. Coenzyme Q10 is responsible for improving cardiovascular work, reduces the level of "bad cholesterol", regulates blood glucose levels and prevents strokes (12). Alfa-ketoglutarn and coenzyme Q10 affect the delaying aging process and support the immune system (13). Citruline apple residents regulate blood pressure and increase physical performance (14). Yarrowia Lipolytica yeast is also a source of betagluan, which has an anti -cancer and immunostimulatory effect, stimulating the immune system (15). Ingredients such as papaya powder, turmeric extract, powdered pomegranate juice and matcha tea have added to the Natural Mojo formula. These are vegetable ingredients with antioxidant potential, but they are in the composition in too small amounts (less than 1% in 100 g dry powder) to have a significant impact on health. Conclusions The main purpose of meal substitutes is to provide consumers with quick to prepare, healthy and tasty solutions - both Supersonic and Natural Mojo offer such a possibility. However, despite the same assumptions, both products are definitely different in composition and nutritional values. Supersonic Food Powder Plus is a product with a completely vegetable composition, based only on natural raw materials, rich in functional ingredients, while Natural Mojo is a vegetarian product, due to the content of milk protein, with a fairly poor composition when it comes to active ingredients. We believe that everyone will find a product for themselves, but we are convinced that Supersonic Food Powder Plus in terms of composition and nutritional value is the most interesting product in its category.
