You drink collagen regularly, you take a good supplement, you don't forget about the portion. And even if there were no effects, there are no results. Before you start looking for another product, it is worth checking something else: whether we are not accidentally sabotaging its operation. What not to combine collagen with and what habits to avoid so that supplementation actually makes sense? Below is a list of things that really affect the effectiveness of collagen.
Drinks that are too hot if your supplement contains vitamin C
Hydrolyzed collagen is thermostable and does not break down when added to a hot drink. The problem arises elsewhere. If your collagen supplement contains vitamin C, and the vast majority of good formulas do, the high temperature may partially degrade it before you even drink it. Vitamin C begins to decompose above 70°C, especially with longer exposure. A diet rich in simple sugars
